Pommery is the privileged partner of the Frieze Art Fair in New York and in London. These events show works from the 150 largest contemporary art galleries.
In the contemporary art world, Frieze is synonymous with cutting-edge culture. Collectors from every continent are in attendance. At the fair, they can try the imaginative cuisine of Pierre Gagnaire, Head Chef at Sketch in London. The Prix Pommery launched by Nathalie Vranken awards the best creation.
This exhibition is dedicated to the most important art works of the 20th and 21st centuries. The Armory Show has become a truly international institution. Every year in March, artists, galleries, collectors, critics and curators from around the world descend upon New York for the event. So, it is natural that Pommery would become a partner.
This event reflects humanity's dreams of grandeur. In 1574, Cardinal Ferdinando de Medici commissioned Florentine architect Bartolomeo Ammannati to build a sumptuous palace that would serve as his seat in Rome.
The Villa regularly hosts exhibitions that we sponsor, and it serves as a home to some twenty artists in residence, whose tenure there lasts one to two years. These artists represent every discipline of art and art history. Villa Medici has a unique position as a European incubator for research and young contemporary creation.
The Pompidou Centre, officially known as the Georges Pompidou National Centre for Art and Culture, arose from President Georges Pompidou's desire to set up a highly original cultural institution dedicated to modern and contemporary creation, where the visual arts would sit alongside theatre, music, cinema, books and oral expression, in the heart of Paris.
In 2010, a new Pompidou Centre opened in Metz, in eastern France. The Domaine Pommery is currently a link between the Paris and Metz Pompidou Centres.
Located in one of the world's most spectacular settings, Sydney Harbour, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia opened to the public in November 1991. It is dedicated to exhibiting, collecting, and interpreting works by today's artists. Pommery is the official champagne of the museum's prestigious events, including the Bella Dinner, an important Sydney society event.
